I'm 75 years old and had it installed and running in 6 hours complete. And that's for changing electric, gas lines, upper plenum and lower base. It is impossible to say maybe so at this point, I'd say depends not no. I bought this system from a supplier and have found support sometimes good and others seemed to be the person was reading the same documentation I already had. The reason I called was the documentation is not always very helpful and misses a lot. e.g. There is nothing regarding how to connect the condensate lines to the units except to do it. There is a lot about making sure they drain, but really. That makes obvious... more

I own a 160 unit hotel and I have tried several different PTACs, Carrier, GE, Amana. These LG's have been the best, most reliable, and quietest units. They're slightly more expensive, but well worth it.

So far this seems like a terrific unit. We bought it primarily for heating. We spoke with a professional local installer who was terrific. They let us do some of the things to save costs. It's really easy if you can drill a hole through your wall. The professionals came before and after to check over what we did and then do the vacuum pumping and a few other things we just weren't sure about.
