I absolutely love this product. I contemplated installing this for years, glad we did. Works excellent, I also purchased the timer switch which is awesome. Each motor consumes 30 watts. Which is calming to electric bill.

While I haven't yet installed the fan, I did unbox it and plug it in. I'm no acoustic engineer, but I could barely hear it operate and that was at the motor end. I'm not sure what 45 dB sounds like or maybe I'm hard of hearing - my wife tells me I'm hard of listening but this thing is quiet and that's with it strung out on the hardwood floor. I recently purchased the MXZ-2C20NAHZ along with the 12K and 9K floor mounted indoor units. I also purchased two Mitsubishi line sets, wall brackets, disconnect switch and drain tubing. All items were received with very quick shipping and no issues or delays. I installed all items with the exception of the line sets myself. We purchased 75,000, 120,000, 150,000, and 200,000 BTU units, 28 units in total. The 83% efficient rating helped us offset the cost of the upgrade by being eligible for a rebate from our utility.
