It was shipped in the best possible way. The unit was on its on skid and the whole assembly on a secondary skid all wrapped in plastic. I purchased the Gree duct units and installed in adjacent closets to the 4 rooms with grills on the walls. The connection pipes were run through the attic to the compressor. It was a lot of work to make the cutouts in the closet walls but the units work great, take up unused overhead space in the closets and are quiet! Very bad choice, did leak after 4 years, dealer unable to help, paid close to $1000.00 the life time warranty is not true, this product is made in Belgium not in USA..save yourself problems get a water heater manufacture in USA....the rest is garbage..
