We bought this unit to replace a 30 year old unit. We wanted one very similar so installation would be easy and a do it yourself job. I am always leery about on line shopping, but ecomfort made me comfortable with my experience. The unit was exactly what we wanted and installation was fantastic. We had to modify one piece of duct work--which was really nothing. I would shop at ecomfort in the future.

Pros: -Wasn't very heavy -Came with many accessories including a flare adapters -Nice to have the option of an intake from the bottom on head units -VERY quiet. -All hook ups are on one side of head unit -Condenser has tons of directional options on how cables/lines enter unit. -Electrical is simple and easily accessible. -CFM displacement is impressive. -Condenser came with good accessories including rubber vibration pads. Great Unit, Easy To Install Nov 09, 2016

So far this seems like a terrific unit. We bought it primarily for heating. We spoke with a professional local installer who was terrific. They let us do some of the things to save costs. It's really easy if you can drill a hole through your wall. The professionals came before and after to check over what we did and then do the vacuum pumping and a few other things we just weren't sure about.
