I have 2 of the 30,000 btu units and one 75,000 btu unit. I couldn't be happier with their performance and reliability. I went with these over the competition because of the compact design and the quality that they are built with. The Reznor brand may cost more but I have dealt with other heaters that have failed and caused pipes in the garage to freeze. Now I can leave for days at a time without thinking twice about what's going on back at home in sub zero temps.

My installer is an experienced air-con guy and I assisted him because I was curious about the whole process. This was the first mini-split system he installed and it went together easily and quickly. When we first turned it on we thought we had a problem because we couldn't hear the outdoor condenser running. AC coil was supposed to be vertical and horizontal. It will only work in horizontal position. Only one drain pan.

My suggestion is to have a very experienced high efficiency furnace plumber install the unit. From what I now know all aspects of the system need to be in balance to work properly. My unit is exceptional and my wife likes the colored pictures designating the various modes of operation.
